  • Contribute in rural household food security protection through Home Garding activities in Tubas District 

    Contribute in rural household food security protection through Home Garding activities in Tubas District, funded by Welfare Association and implemented in the period March - December 2007. THe aim from this project was to enable vulnerable rural households to improve their food security status by establishing their own home gardens and livestock raising projects. Furthermore, the project worked on supporting women and farmers organizations to improve their organizational and manegment assistant activites. The project targetd 60 households in addition to 2 women and farmers organization.

  • The food security project in Nablus District 

    The food security project in Nablus District , this was of 7 months funded by the Welfare association and implemented in the period June 2009 and march 2010. The project targeted 100 rural women in 6 rural communities by supporting the establishment of productive home gardens and rainwater harvest cistern as to enhance income and livelihood improvement. The project has also provided technical and management capacity building for women cooperatives as well.

  • A Regional Strategy for Control of Bactrocera oleas The Olive Fly 

    A Regional Strategy for Control of Bactrocera oleas " The Olive Fly" project funded by Embassy of the United States of America aims to conduct a study about olive fly, through definding a study area where three different traps for olive fly are used which are pheromone trabs and simply yellow traps, stated on June, 2007 and will be ended on May, 2010 .

  • Project re-use of treated water to irrigate olive 

    Designed this project to study the impact of the use of treated wastewater on the physical and chemical properties of the fruits of olive and oil product in addition to the soil, with funding from the U.S. Agency for International Development and began Assembly implemented in 2008, and conducts follow-up project on an ongoing basis through the implementation of activities of field and prepare technical reports and financial of the project and was end of the project in the second half of 2012.

    During the last year involved a workshop to discuss the results of the project for 2010. Were also follow-up activities for the project were collected and analyzed 40 samples soil and 40 sample papers and 20 sample the fruits and 20 sample oil, and has been the application of the special wild trees treated water, as the processing and paper scientific research on the effect of irrigation treatment on the physical and chemical properties of the fruits of olive oil.

    It was also preparing technical reports and financial project for the year 2011 and delivered to the hand-funded.

  • GLOWA Jordan River project 

    GLOWA Jordan River project to examine the impact assessment of climate change on ecosystem services and land use in the Basin and funded by the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research, German:

    The project was the beginning of 2009, was in the direct implementation of project activities and then make revisions to the literature search, and the definition of major environmental regulations in the target area and the area of ​​services provided by these systems, which is expected to be affected one way or another to climate change.

      And has been collecting information relating to water sources and irrigation methods and the different patterns of land use and conduct a special survey the distribution of agricultural crops in the region and analysis services related to plant species in ecosystems. And still continuing work on this project through the implementation of field activities and the preparation of technical reports and financial of the project during 2011 and submitted to the hand-funded.

  • Assessment Project, genetic differentiation and genetic ancient olive trees and the relationship with environmental standards (DFG) 

    Assessment Project, genetic differentiation and genetic ancient olive trees and the relationship with environmental standards (DFG):

       This project aims to study the strains of the olive trees and study the genetic characteristics and genetic and get the trees from distinct strains. Been completed, the project work during 2011.

       Seedlings were monitored in the nursery Juneidi, and has been conducting field visits to follow up procecss seeds where he is expected to get about 420 olive seedlings at the beginning of the year 2012.

  • Nematoda Project 

    Project examining the role of nematodes in the transfer of pathogens to humans:

    Project studying the development of the use of a pesticide plant grass tail instinctive and a natural insecticide to control pests of soil:
